Is there a way

Also if you use Exchange to get your email, your contacts are backed up there as well most likely. Anytime I get a new phone I just sync with my Exchange server and all my mail, contacts, appointments, etc. are downloaded.

If no Exchange server, Google is the way to go.

well how can I make sure that they're synced? Reason being is I may go exchange my phone. I'm having a few issues with mine.

You set them to sync in the phone settings, under "Accounts and Sync>Google". If you want to make sure that they synced properly, check your contacts in your Google account and make sure they match the contacts in your phone. :)

So, you didn't enter the contacts into Google online, correct?

They're on your phone?

Go to People > hit the menu button > Import/Export > Export to SD card.

I haven't done this myself, but you'll need to find the file. Hook the phone up to your computer and look for a file that should probably be ".csv" format. You might be able to email it to yourself too, I'm not sure (in order to get the file on your PC)

Then go to that link above and hit the Import button. Upload your .csv and edit as you wish.

Now everybody will be in your Google Contacts and you'll be "backed up" and "synced" for that (possible) replacement phone.
