Hi,
on iOS there is an app called "MyWi".
One of its features is "Wifi Sharing".
What this does is basically tethering - but using your wifi instead of data.
This can be useful for say.. I have an android phone and an old android phone. I want to play an online MMO on them both. The problem is that my old android cannot connect to my wifi, it is too far away from the router. Then i use Wifi Sharing as a signal booster which increases the wifi in my room, and now my old phone has enough signal to connect.
Are there any apps like this for android? The best i've seen are tether apps, but they all disconnect wifi and turn on data. Any apps that tether my wifi, not data?
Cheers
