Is there an app that automatically resends failed text mesages?

The thing I hate most about my Nexus one is when I try to send a text, and i get the red ! mark if its out of service. Then I have to go into the message, longtouch it, and choose resend. Are there any programs out there that will automatically try to resend failed messages?

Thanks

I haven't downloaded it in a while, but I want to say that Handcent SMS does that... I'm not positive, though.

I don't think so. I use handcent and get a lot of failed messages because the signal is no good at my house. I have to pull down the notifications and hit resend all failed messages. Better than having to do it one by one, but it is not automatic.

Two posts eh? I hope the other one was more useful than this one.
He started the thread. I'm sure he's shocked that there isn't one available, or that it hasn't been posted.

I too would like to find a solution to automatically resending a failed text.

D'oh! My bad. I thought it was someone else being a smart ass.

i get horrible service in my house too... i think your best bet is to get GV and send them over wifi... it works out perfect.

eh, i really like the messaging app. i would be willing to pay for an app that automatically tries to resend failed messages. Im sure a dev could make one fairly simply.

With Handcent if there is a message that did not get sent it wil be resent when the phone is rebooted.
