Is there an app that keeps sms private

I'm looking for an app that will make sms from some contacts private, I.e. hidden until I enter a pin.

I've tried Vault But the sms still appear in my android sms inbox. I want them to be completely hidden.

Any ideas?
 
I guess you don't have a Samsung flagship phone with a secure folder - everything in it is separate from the rest of the phone. They are literally duplicate apps that operate only in that folder.
 
I used to use an app that blocked access from anyone accessing my apps without my pin! Name was like app lite or something. they have tons of app lock apps available in the play store you can read the reviews and see which one works the best for your needs!

If it's just one # you they have hide text apps you can use block them and the app looks like something else but you need a pin to get in that as well!
 
Mood Messenger has a privacy setting where you can put a pin code on pattern to access it if that's something you'd be interested in.
