Is there an app...

That will let me timelapse photos of all the delivery planes that fly in front of my house? The come every 30 seconds or 1 minute intervals. It's in the near Dawn to say now time and I'd like to make them have tailfin streaks. Can you do that in the morning?
Maybe 40 or 50 per hour.

What phone do you have? Many of the camera apps that come with phones have a "timelapse" feature built-in. For example on the Samsung Galaxy S9 there is "Hyperlapse" which is Samsung's proprietary version of a timelapse with some additional image processing done.

But you still haven't got me in the loop..if you want the phone to take pictures automatically..per say, every 45 seconds..you can have Tasker to do that..and that feature does not require root..you just set it by time..starting what ever time(the minimum lapse Tasker does is every two minutes..but you can make two or three different tasks to do the same..and that's your every 45 seconds right there..
And just set it up to take pictures..that's that..

Actually, hold that thought..I just created the profile and the task just to make sure it works..it does take the pictures in the lapse..but the lat picture deletes the previous one..so you will end up with just one picture

Glad I checked back. I've always found Tasker ridiculously complicated unless I have step-by-step instructions.

Most modern camera apps have timelapse functionality. ANd there are really good phone holder tripods (use this feature at Niagara Falls).

You could use the google camera app on your LG to do this.

Delivery planes? I've never seen a one. Where do you live? I'd imagine they'd be gunned down, here, by kids with BB guns as target practice.

For instance, I live 5 miles away from CVG, where Amazon has GIANT distro center, and is doing a 1 billion dollar expansion. I see Amazon planes ALL DAY. Plus tons fo regular traffic as well.

Want you to know I've been yesterday and today trying to fix the issue with the tasker..

So creating the profile where a new picture added well take a different name compared to the previews one taken..where the me picture should add a digit in it's name so it doesn't replace the picture before..

In fact this profile will help me also with a task I'm trying to run in my phone in daily basis..

There are a billion time lasp photo apps out there. Becareful not to get so wound up in ads in each one though.

It's still "Is there an app..." But I'd like to find out how high these everyday planes fly. Is there anything like a triangulating app that can tell you how high a plane you took a picture of from the ground was flying?

No, but there is an app that will show you every plane in the air, it's altitude, speed, destination, etc.
