Is there any issues if I delete the music app infavor of google music

Liking this phone, but running out of space.

Is there any issues, if I delete the standard android music app because I want to only use the google music app.

I just dumped the android music widget into the trash can, and installed the google music widget in its place. Improvement.

Not sure. Just go into your system>app folder and rename the apk so the end of it reads .apk.bk and it will uninstall and if you have any problems just erase the .bk you added and it will reinstall


Alot of times music and especially SMS app still rely on the stock app and wont work properly with out the stock..

The music .Apk can safely be removed. I removed it in favor of poweramp on all my metropcs androids. Ascend, optimus, m835 and admire.

i have also deleted the standard music .apk and have been using google music for a while now with no problems.
