Is there any truth to conditioning a Bionic's new battery?

I used to have an HTC Desire a few years back and found info on things to do to squeeze more battery life out of a new battery, and it worked. Are there any tricks to doing the same type of thing to a Bionic's battery? I've read things on draining your new battery 3 times and then fully charge it to condition it to get max life out of it, is this true?

It's open for debate. Most say the current battery technology doesn't need to be conditioned. I still try not to take a new battery and start charging it when it's only at 20% or things like that. The first couple of charges I do try to kill it completely and then fully charge it. It's not exactly going out of my way to do so, I just charge it at night anyway.

It probably doesn't matter, but it doesn't take a whole lot of effort to just drain the battery once and let it charge fully.
