Root Is there any way to make some of the LG Esteem's widgets work for the Connect?

I like some of the widgets that the esteem has, but they aren't compatible with the connect. Is there any way to make them work for the connect?

I believe stock widgets are generally something to do with the launcher; if you haven't had any luck reinstalling the apks from the stock app package on the esteem forums, then best thing for it is to find equivalent function widgets on the market and get used to a new style
