Is there any way to send videos via text?

Even very short videos aren't able to send bc of "file too large"...

The max size of video files for MMS is carrier-dependent ... as far as I know this could be between 300MB and 1.2GB

Look in your video camera app settings, may be a setting for file size called "Limit for MMS".
This may help.
