I don't know what the Prevail's lock screen looks like, but you can do that and way more with WidgetLocker. I don't have many paid apps, but this one is completely worth it. If you put the date and time on the screen with WL, you can touch it and drag off and it will show the battery. Or you can put a battery widget on the lock screen.
Not sure about the Prevails lockscreen. I do know the LG Marquee has something similar. I do have lock pattern enabled but, it does show The Time, The Date, My Carrier, and Charging status. With charging status it will show the percent of battery that has been charged. You know, the one when your phone's screen is off, you press the power button and you can see the Time, the date and the battery life (if charging). I miss that from my prevail![]()
Well i do not see an option for both slide to unlock and password. On the marquee you can have it slide to unlock, 4 Digit PIN to unlock, a password to unlock, or a pattern to unlock. I just went through them all and there is no way to slide across then input a pin or password. As I stated previously the Pattern Unlock method does give you battery charging state, time, date, and carrier on the screen. Hope this helps..The lock screen for the prevail is just an icon that you have to slide across, then put the password to get into the phone. I like that better than this current LG marquee style.
Nice! I may check that out at some point. They do look nice and seems to have some good options. Good Call Droidula. You can slide to unlock and then enter a password with WidgetLocker. If you do get that though, I like the ics unlock screen, try it out.
