Root is there away to make a custom rom for lg optumis v?

I keep seeing the android kitchen in this threads but it sounds like its only built towards htc devices. so i was wondering were i can i get scripting to make a lg custom rom. and how do i make themes?

i only want cause ics seems to be missing a lot of things like wifi 3g and texting at least for me. and backside rom keeps freezing, and the only theme i can install is green machine oh and muiuiho works but dosnt show up on my screen and i have to use droid at screen
