Newbie
I just got the zte warp sync N9515.Dosnt seem like theres much support. So glad to shake metro,BOOST MOBIL.So is there root for this model(N9515)?,if so please point me in the right direction.any help is appreciated

This is a wicked phone but I miss Root and at the moment it's VERY unrootable.. Might have to go back to Warp 4G..

WOOOWW!! Just got off the phone with BOTH Boost & ZTE (USA this time!). Long story short: I've been w/ Boost since they first went nationwide and never once used Warranty on anything. Ever. That seemed to get me somewhere as far as management. They genuinely (for once) seemed to try to help instead of usual BS runaround and sworn the info to access/unlock boot loader/fastboot just WASN'T THERE. ANYWHERE. So I got patched thru to ZTE/USA and they actually DIDN'T HAVE the required info either. They also informed me that it is now ILLEGAL (where ZTE mfg plant is located) to write/dev phones with known exploits for rooting (ie: fastboot & bootloader modes)... No matter how LEGAL it is here in America to do so. So in effect - they locked the phone and deleted any info pertaining to accessing said modes.. I don't know how true this is but it's the first time I've ever perceived any sincerity from either company. I believe this also means all future ZTE phones will arrive locked as well..

At this point I'm thinking (as far as Boost Mobile phones go): HTC - Shinru2004 is on those at the moment (we know he rocks), Moto - Seraph08 is rocking out there, LG - are usually Rootable so far even if Dev work is somewhat lacking. And of course Samsung - Expensive but high on the list of capabilities.

The ZTE Boost Max is rooted. We have kit kat, kernel source code and SuperR has been working on a custom kernel. It's a mid ranged device. Full HD 5.7 inch screen with some mid ranged hardware.

You're right. And SuperR's work is always some of the best, [emoji41] for real. I've never seen any of his Dev work bashable. He puts a lot into these for us, and he don't even have a donations link. I know I'll be keeping an eye on where he goes outside of ZTE phones before long.

I use a Moto G as my daily ;)

Thinking of getting boost max(n9520).It's been rooted.
That's a great phone from what I hear, but I decided after the Sync, that a 5" screen is my size limit. [emoji41] To each their own and best wishes on the Max, I know SuperR is one hellz of a Dev to be in your corner

Not capable at this time without Root. And I think he's been mostly on Boost mobile handsets..
