Help Is this a Fault

Has my Galaxy Y developed a fault? For the last week or so, my phone whilst in my pocket seems to manage to bypass the screen lock. I am often taking it out of my pocket to find settings altered or the sound muted or I have been sending rubbish texts to people.

Then this morning whilst standing talking to a friend I suddenly realised the music I could hear was coming from my pocket. This time, the phone had not only bypassed the screen lock but was playing a You Tube video. I don't even have the You Tube app as a shortcut!

Any advice out there?

Hi. If you noticed, the Galaxy Y's screen is very sensitive to touch but I've also noticed that it mostly reacts only on finger's skin, etc.

Try using a lockscreen such as the one where you draw or the one with the digits and see if it continues on doing this.
