Hi everyone, I purchased this new I905, supposedly genuine a while ago. It works find and I decided to update the OS.
That's when the trouble started. I tried OTA update, failed. Kies - failed to recognise device.
In scouring the Net the only update I found was this TGY-I9305ZHBMI4-20131023161041.
It does not have the same build number or date. But it was the only Hong Kong update I could find.
I have three questions:
Is this a genuine Samsung I9305
Even if it is not genuine can I update it and do I have the correct update
I am no techie, so what is the simplest and safest way to update
