Hi I have concerns about my Cubot Dinosaur running Android Marshmallow. I just found an app called Acti_service version 1.0.

Settings>All>Apps>

Under Storage it shows 12.00KB used in internal storage

Under Data Usage it shows that it has used 84.00KB since 24 Jan (which I find strange had the phone since September 2016)

Under Permission it is faded out and can't open it

I can't find anything on the internet about this app, have major concerns that this could be spyware??

any help appreciated, thanks in advance!

Could you provide more details as to why you suspect this app to be spyware? Did you install some kind of anti-virus/anti-malware utility and it flagged this as something suspicious, or are you just looking for things you think are problematic?
It's very unlikely to actually be spyware unless someone has had physical possession of your Cubot phone without your consent or being aware they had it. Unlike in the movies, spyware just doesn't magically appear on a phone -- someone has to install the app and configure it accordingly (.....as its primary purpose is to covertly establish a connection for the perpetrator to use to remotely access your phone and/or a tracking service). If you have a lock screen enabled that also involves them being able to disable it to do the install/setup, and enable it again so you weren't aware of any out of sorts. So implementing something like spyware isn't a trivial matter, someone has to be targeting you for a reason and they need the necessary skill set, and enough time, to install it.

If you really do think this app is problem, submit it to the VirusTotal site, it's a valid, verified way (established over a decade and a half ago) to determine if something is some kind of exploit. VirusTotal uses a collection of various anti-virus and anti-malware services in aggregate to scan files people submit:

It's most likely a system app. I don't see anything nefarious with it. It's grayed out because it is a system app and you do not have permission to access it.

There are many threads like yours with similar questions. A lot of system apps and processes can be named suspiciously, but they are not.
