Help Is this Verizon or my phone?

Not sure if this is related to the red X sim card error but I wanted to bring this up..For the past few days, my phone says I do have 4g/3g depending on where I'm at but I am unable to access any data..Yet my phone says I don't have a data connection?

This happens a couple times throughout the day and it will come back on randomly. Has this happened to anybody elses RAZR? I didn't have this type of problem with my OG Droid and certaintly would've remembered if it did.

This is related to the sim card error.

I went into verizon and these are the Temporary instructions I was given until the network is fixed. It's not a phone issue they said, a network issue.
1. Put the phone in airplane mode.
2. Restart the phone.
3. Take the phone out of airplane mode.

It worked for me oddly.

Figured it was. I asked my girlfriend if her data was working and she has a DI..Everything was working fine for her...

Everything seems to be working fine for me now at least..knock on wood..
