Is your Firmware Too New? Error during Root

Looking forward to learning and sharing all there is to share about the HTC Android phones.

I have tried several times to root my EVO 4G using Unrevoked 3. Each time I get an error that says "is your firmware too new?" How can I correct this so that I can complete the root process?
