Help issue re-installing chomp

So scrolling through messaging apps the other day. I install a couple de-install them as i go to the next. I decided i wanted to try chomp again, having already uninstalled it, i scroll back to the market to re-install. I keep getting a dang "insufficient storage available" error after the install fails. This is not a space issue, it must be a residual file somewhere preventing access to something chompsms needs to install, but i can't find it for the life of me.

Any ideas?

Steps attempted as follows.
1. reboot
2. attempted reinstall
3. de-install a bunch of stuff to ensure it was indeed a space issue
4. attempted reinstall
5. uninstalled some other messaging type apps
6. attempted reinstall

Still no work, i contacted the dev, we have been exchanging emails. I think it might be resolved soon. Seems to be a permissions issue of some sort. I just wanted to make sure it wasn't a common problem and it seems like it isn't.
