Root Issue using Titanium Backup with Link2SD

Hey guys, I have a problem I've never encountered before. On all my phones, I've used Titanium and Link2SD with no issues. Currently I'm using Omni 5.1.1, but I also had the issue with Meticulus' last CM12 build. When you have an app linked to sd, Titanium will only backup the data, not the apk. This mean's once the app is uninstalled, Titanium can't restore it. You would have to reinstall from the play store, then use titanium to restore the data. This has never been a problem for me until I started using the Exhibit. I have set Titanium to follow all symbolic links, but it doesn't seem to help. Also tried forcing system busybox. If anyone else has noticed this and found a solution, please let me know.
 
In all of the years I've been using it, I've never had an issue such as that.
