Root Issue When Receiving Group Messages

Hello,

Hopefully this is in the right section, if not my bad. I have a rooted maxx with Cyanogenmod 10.1 on it and it seems to have intermittent issues receiving group texts/regular texts occasionally. I can't reproduce it, it just seems to happen randomly.

This is what happens when it goes awry- I see a message come in, I go to the notification bar and it says who it is from, so I click to open it and an empty text message dialogue comes up (like when you create a new text to send to someone). I go to the inbox and there is no message there.

If I go back to the stock rom this doesn't happen. I love Cyanogenmod, but this is a pretty hefty issue. Any ideas?

I have a Razor Maxx running straight 4.1.2, using GO SMS Pro. When I'm part of a group text, I see a little image icon (no images attached, tho) and it says 'download' but when I do, it just spins and says Unable to download message. SO FRUSTRATING. Suggestions?
