Help Issue with gallery..anyone else??

On Froyo 2.2 and I just noticed tonight that I can't seems to get the box that appears in pictures from gallery to expand when I try to use any pic for a wall. All my pics are cropped to proper wallpaper size but this was never an issue in 2.1. It happens both with the native gallery and gallery 3D. Anyone else experience this?? Is there a cure?

It expands fine for me. OTA 2.2, rooted, and deodexed.

Tell us some more about your situation and device, please. Are you rooted? Deodexed? etc.

Not rooted or deodexed just plain old froyo OTA 2.2.
I choose a picture from the gallery, set as wallpaper and when the crop box comes up the expansion is sporadic. Sometimes it does others it does not. All wallpaper pics are app 960x854.
It's not a big deal but annoying. Thought it was my screen protector but nah. Worked just fine before upgrading.
