i am going to update my 2.1 to 2.3 but i have some questions, hope that you can help me out. im currently on rooted 2.1 with link2sd, if i would like to update to 2.3, do i need to unroot it? and for the apps that i have link to sd, do i need to unlink all of them before i do the backup(using Titanium Backup)? how i want to re-link the link2sd app to my partition sd after i update to rooted 2.3? your help will be much appreciated! Thank you! ;)

hi, no you don't need to unroot your phone. i recently updated my wildfire from rooted 2.1 to 2.2 and it worked fine. and you shouldn't have to relink them. just leave the apk files on the sd card, then after you update your phone just re install them and go from there. hope this helped.

now i have done the upgrade and with rooted 2.3..but my phone couldn't read my sdcard.."blank sdcard" is showing on notification bar..and how shd i restore the apps that i backed-up using Titanium Backup?

Should have copied all that stuff onto your computer.

Pop out the SDCard from the phone and put it in your computer to read it.
