Issue with MMS.... anyone else???

I have a Nexus 5 on Tmobile and seem to be having an MMS issue. I am only recsiving and sending about 50% of the time. Never had this issue with Verizon... Is this the Network or the phone? Seems that when I reboot it corrects itself so lends me to think it's the phone.

No issues here.

Make sure your mobile data is enabled and that your apn settings are configured correctly. These are the two most common problems with mms.

Yeah its enabled. Apn settings came loaded into phone for tmobile so I believe they are correct.

My MMS was working fine the first couple weeks.. went away for a week or two but has since come back in the last couple days. It was not an apn issue and I haven't updated to 4.4.1 or done any update to Hangouts.:confused:

Have you verified with any other prepaid T-Mo users to make sure it's not the network?

My dad is has not been able to receive MMS since he got the phone. He is on AT&T. I also have the N5 on AT&T but I have had no issues.

I switched from Verizon to Tmo. No one can beat Verizons coverage. However, I am not having any problems.

Seems the issue is file size according to t-mobile. I always thought the phone would compress the file size to send. May be a kit Kat issue? I have been getting most mms now anyway.

Yeah, I'm experiencing the same issue now. If a file is over 600kb, it fails to send. Regardless of the application - stock or a custom sms/mms app - it still fails.

Mine has been quirky but seems to have been working last couple of days. Maybe a network issue.

This is sage advice, once I corrected these settings in mine it's been perfect every time.
