Issue with mystery backup source.

Hi! I'm having an issue with photo backups on my HTC Rhyme - in that I never meant to back up my photos, but here they are. And I can't figure out where they came from.

I switched from the first generation Droid to the Rhyme back in October. I rarely take photos, and thus tonight is the first time I noticed that some photos I'd originally taken on my Droid, dating as far back as May 2010, are accessible in the Rhyme's photo gallery.

To my knowledge, no SD cards have been switched out.
I do not use G+, Flickr, Picasa, or any auto-uploading or photosharing software, that I'm aware of.
I do use the backup feature on Lookout, but never for photos. I can still access details about my deactivated Droid in Lookout, and I can see there that no photos are backed up.
The photos saved don't share any common features - e.g. "these are all photos I texted at one point." They're from multiple photo programs, in fact - most are from the built-in camera, but some are from Retro Camera (or whatever it's called).
I use Verizon.

I'm just curious to know where these photos might've come from. I live an extremely boring life, so I'm not worried about orgy pics floating out there in the cloud, but I'd really like to know. Thank you for your time!

Do you use dropbox or sugarsync? I believe they may backup photos. Probably one of those, click and forget settings.

Nope, aside from Lookout, I don't use any sync or backup programs. I use my phone to make calls and keep a calendar and read webpages when I'm bored in airports - I'm the least connected smartphone addict ever.

To add to the fun, I just plugged in my old Droid? And there are no photo files on it. At all. It's like the Phone Fairies magically transported everything to the Rhyme.
