Help Issue With Rotating Screen

Im having an issue were my screen wont rotate from time to time. I have to restart the phone for it to work again. Usually it happens in the mornings right after taking it off the chargers but not always. And from time to time it does it during the day out of no where. It seems to be happening more and more. Use to be a once a week type thing, now it seems like a every day issue. Sometimes even twice a day.

I'm running stock Android 4.1.2, and nothing else. The only other thing I have running constantly is Juice Defender. Is that passably the issue?

Have you checked if the setting is on that stops the screen rotating if it thinks you're looking at it?

This issue has also been happening to me and only started after I updated to 4.1.2.

Auto-Rotate Screen is check marked. Smart Rotation and Smart Stay are UN-Check marked.

Im still having problems with my screen not rotating when I turn it. Any one else?

I have the issues off and on. I just uncheck and then recheck the rotation button.

I had this problem with the 4.1.2 update.

But since we had the 50MB update a few weeks back I've not noticed it happening.

I had this problem when AT&T first pushed 4.1.2 upgrade to my phone. It would happen about 2 or 3 times a week. Lately I have not seen it happens. I don't know if there was a software update or I just didn't use "whatever" that triggered the rotation freeze.

When I had the problem, all I have to do is to go into the dialing app with dial pad screen, and rotate while one that screen. That would unfreeze the auto rotation for my phone. I read that tip somewhere.. and it beats having to reboot the phone!
