Issue with Samsung Gear

I just got my gear watch i got the black one my issue is my text messages only comes in my log thats same log where i get calls and then i dont even see the message at all, does any one else have this issue not sure why i am not getting the notification like i get for my email, any help will do.

i moved you to the galaxy gear forum, for better eyes.

we should be getting an update where the gear can handle all notifications. but until then it is very limited. there are some work arounds where you can try the UK update or you can root the phone.

Ok just making sure it's doing all it's suppose to do

Make sure you have messaging checked in the notification setting in gear manager. You need to use the stock messagjng app unless you have the latest firmware (v700xxuamk7) and have updated gear manager on your handset

......it seems to be.

If it is then make sure you're gear manager is up to date as well.

If there is an update then you can flash it with odin and then update gear manager as well.
