Help Issues with gallery

I'm having a slight issue with the gallery lately, all my photos take forever to load up the thumbnails if it loads it at all. Most of the time I get a grey pic with a outline of a mountain. And when it does load the thumbnail is so distorted I don't know what I'm even looking at unless I click on it to open the picture. Has anyone else had this issue or know if a solution to fix it?

I had a similar issue until I cleared the cache for the first time in the recovery menu (see: http://androidforums.com/motorola-droid-x2/425921-official-2-3-4-ota-released-2.html#post3311080).

Sometimes it's a good idea to cut and paste all material from the Gallery into your computer's hard drive, then doing a cache cleaning both in the Application Manager and the Recovery menu.

Also, we see a lot of reports around several device areas reporting quicker Gallery pic loading over time.. that is, the more it's used the quicker it gets.

I hate the stock gallery. I liked it better on the Droid X. I hate the fact that everything is in the same folder. Dumb. Anywho, I took the advice of those saying to download Quickpic. Thank God! This app is perfect. Has files like the X Camera, Download, Messaging. The only thing it is missing is a file just for video, but I can live with that. Download Quickpic. You shouldn't be disappointed. Do it! Do it! Do it!
