Help Issues With Getting the Update

I bought this tablet yesterday. First of all, I love it!

Secondly, I have an issue. I noticed that it was downloading a firmware update (I believe it was the JB update). After while, I checked the progress and it was at 69%. I looked again several minutes later and it was still at 69%.

I changed the settings to always stay connected to the network when the device goes into sleep mode and it was still stuck at 69%.

I may have done a stupid thing and restart the machine. The thought process was that the update would restart and just go from there. Unfortunately, that is not what happened.

I went to Settings > About Tablet > System Update, but it kep either saying the server was busy or no update available at this time.

I went to the ASUS Support site and downloaded the update, but it did not give instructions as to how to install it.

Would any of you folks know or have experienced a similar issue?

Thanks for any help!

Reset the tablet by pressing the off button and holding down the up/downbuton i cant remember :/ turn itback on this should reset the update notification. Make sure you are connected to a strong wifi signal hope this works

Wouldn't this wipe the data? Not a huge issue. I did it and it said to either wipe data or boot android. Not sure which was the correct choice.

TRY THIS - No OTA Needed!!!
Found this tip: After you download the proper version firmware from Asus Support, Unzip(extract contents). After the unzip, copy contents from folder to a formatted MicroSD Card. Insert the card(with only the Zip file from folder on it) into tablet. When you start or open tablet it will pick up the update and automatically install it. Worked like a charm for me(both JB 4.2 & 4.2.1). Root, un-rooted it doesn't matter works for ALL.
