Issues with HTC calendar

I did post this in suport but I'm posting it here too. Not sure how many read the support section,
Mods, I understand if you feel one has to be flicked
Just trying anything to resolve this problem,

6 months down the track and I still cannot get the calender working properly.
Using an HTC Desire HD, but had the same problem with an HTC Magic. The problem started almost immediately after I updated to 2.2 on the Magic, so I got rid of it for the DHD. Great phone, but the problem persisted on it too.
Not all appointments sync properly. Some don't sync at all, while many end up the wrong day or no appointed time.
I've been trawling here since the start of the year, but nothing I've tried has helped. I've tried through Google help forum a couple of times, no real help.
Does anyone know how or where I can get help with this problem
I run a business off the calender for two, and it's very time consuming checking every entry to make sure it's right, or adjusting it

I am starting to wonder if it's not the phone, given I had exactly the same problem on the Magic I was using before
But I've been through all the settings on the laptop, nothing hits me in the head
Things were working fine on this laptop, but then the calendar problem started at the same time as the 2.2 upgrade on the Magic
Could be coincidence, given same problem occurs on my Desire HD, although it's running 2.2 as well
But then if 2.2 was the problem, everyone would be having exactly the same issue

I wonder if its some wrong with the Google calendar. I used to use a 3rd party app to sync my Nokia with my Google calendar. Most of the time it was fine but from time to time I would get the issues you report. Each time it came down to a problem at the Google end. Since moving over to Android with the HTC DHD I have been very impressed with the smoothness of the sync with Google calendar. Perhaps a firmly worded e mail to Google support is called for
 
I've read enough ppl having problems with MyPhoneExplorer as well
Last thing I want is fix one problem (maybe) and get dumped with another
Also I feel Google may not want to help (not that they do now!) if I'm using another app
Calendar used to work perfectly on the Magic, til Froyo update, then it went crackers
There seems to be a large mass of ppl also having probs with Google calendar, although the problem varies
I'll just have to keep digging around til I find a fix, or Google does something (yeah.....) to get it going properly
If anyone comes across any ideas I'm all ears

Ok, so updating to Gingerbread changed things, but not completely fixed them.:mad:

All bookings showed up in their right spot, but if I go into them on the DHD to edit, the times show up as correct, but when I go to change the time it's wrong (again!).
And trying to edit these entries on the DHD was again a nightmare

So, I ended up putting Date and Time back to automatic
I had to take it off Auto when daylights savings came in last, cos it was wrong (Auto time settings)
But putting it back to Auto fixed all the calendar problems:D

Crossing my fingers it all works good now, until of course next daylight savings period:(

(sort of feel like I need my own room:o)
