Help Issues with my x10

For some reason I can't download certain apps.. My friend has the same phone but she can download the apps and I can't.. Also Facebook came out with a new update and I can't download that on this phone as well.. The phone is currently using the 1.6 firmware

Well, I think that is you problem.

That the phone is running 1.6.

Most new apps are only made for Android 2.3 or 2.2 and up.

If you have 1.6, I would probably have to suggest updating your phone to 2.1 or 2.3.

Before thinking about that, I would suggest doing a backup. Sync your contacts online with your google account and backup any files on the phone before upgrading.....but upgrading is what you are probably going to need to do in order to install any new apps,

It says you need 1.5 or up just to install facebook app.

But I doubt you would have all the recent updates if you just had 1.6 installed.
