Issues with Quickoffice

I've been having some issues with quickoffice. When I scroll down the pages it gets really slow and then has a delay. It froze and I had to quit and restart the app.
I'm just trying to read the 4.4 quick start guide.
Anyone else having this issue?

I've only found QuickOffice good for editing short documents on Mobile Platforms. I have a large spreadsheet for workouts and tried to edit that and it was rather useless. This was on my iPhone 5. In general, I do real editing on a PC.
