Help Issues with vibration settings in android phone

hello there,
I am using nokia xl and I installed a
third party launcher. Maybe I changed
some settings of vibration from there,
and now my device always vibrates
whenever I use the alarm or whenever
there is a notification from whatsapp. I
have disabled the vibration from settings
but it does not have any effect on alarm
and whatsapp notification.
I have removed the third party app also.
please help me out.

Have you looked at the alarm app's and whatsapp's settings? They may well have their own notification options separate from the system ones.

Yes I have checked their settings too. The alarm don't have any settings for vibration and whatsapp have a default vibration option which says whatsapp messages will vibrate only when the device is set to the vibration mode.
Is there a way to restore the vibration settings of the device, or is there any terminal command for it? Yes I have also rooted my phone.
