Apps It is shocking that there is no Logout option for GMail!

If you are an Android developer, mind explaining with what strange wisdom have you guys decided not to include the Logout option for GMail?

For whose benefit have you done this? Yours or Ours?
And why do you guys keep on suggesting “work arounds” when the solution is a simple one?

Can someone pls answer as to when we’re going to get the Logout option?
