That a phone that was debuted not too long ago like the Droid X has a board on this site that has more posts and replies than all of the AT&T branded android phones combined.

This message is brought to you by the Qualcomm MSM7600 528MHz CPU which will probably be the processor in our next android phone.

But... the MSM7600 is a CDMA SoC... :p

I need to get better at my random making fun of AT&T...

how about: Our next phone will have an abacus app as a dialer so that it can't compete with the iphone!!!

Kinda curious world it be possible for you to provide results of nenamark and linpack results? (you can find them on the market).

Heard it was a snappy device.

Look for nenamark1 or go here and install through adb (http://nena.se/downloads.html). It is a 3D graphic benchmark.

Linpack is not bad. My Liquid (Snapdragon) at 768MHz was getting around 5 (now at 998MHz and around 7). If you had Froyo, you would probably get near 30 (it will be that much faster)

Holy! 16.7 is about what I get and Acer overclocked our GPUs on Eclair update.

HTC must have overclocked the GPU to handle 3D graphics well.

That is better than Nexus/Desire/Incredible/Evo/Droid (they get around 12).

Impressive. I vote that a new benchmarks thread be started in the Aria forum so that everybody can see these numbers...

But that is becuse that phone is a high end phone and we have yet to see a high end phone that is exclusive to AT&T. And then there is the other problem and that is since AT&T has not embraced android there are not as many people here that are on AT&T as compared to Verizon.

Although it'd be nice to say "Yeah, my phone pwns!" I have to be honest... It's because of screen resolution. Your screen nearly doubles mine in res. :) So, yeah... it runs well for the screen size but if my resolution were 800x480 like yours my numbers would be much lower :)
