It's a very nice app

Before I look, does it do stuff also? And will it keep track of things? And how does it handle those other tasks?

I use it to keep all my androids clean, disable auto start apps that slow down the system and enable auto start of my choose apps, plus batch uninstaller
...

Try it you'll love it !

It does have a pretty high rating in the reviews which means it probably does what it says it can do, but for it to do what it does you have to give away the farm in terms of permissions.

This app has access to:

Phone
  • read phone status and identity

  • access USB storage filesystem
  • read the contents of your USB storage
  • modify or delete the contents of your USB storage
Storage
  • read the contents of your USB storage

Considering the developers are in China, I wouldn't be surprised if personal information and device metrics weren't being collected as well. Personally, I wouldn't risk it.

I had bought android assistant but this app has more features. As far a security is concerned, most of my data is worth nothing, I have no money to steal. If I can't trust a simple app, then why would I trust an antivirus made in China? Like one of my favorite apps, 370 total security?

Some do write some nice freeware

Of course not, but in China the norm is to mine data, so a lot of the "good" apps take it for granted that his will be part of the cost for a free app. I didn't want to insinuate that there was something nefarious here.

Think you mean 360 Total Security by Qihoo, I've seen more than enough of virus riddled PCs that have their "antivirus" on it. So NO, I don't trust their products myself.

I do use WeChat a lot, and has become rather indispensable for life in China. :thumbsupdroid:
