Root its all going wrong

so i rooted my Phone all went well i did the back up where it said in the instructions and was working great. so i decided to put on Cyanogen. i must have done it wrong. It now just Hangs on the O2 screen. it will let me into recovery stuff but i cant find any of the recoverys i thought id made . im at the end of my wits its been ia nightmare from the start i thought id finally won
can anyone please help??

it does go in to the 4ext recovery

This is easy to remedy if you can get into recovery. Try downloading a different rom (id suggest dGB as it doesn't require a partitioned card) Do a full wipe . I think you can mount your sd card with 4ext from what i can remember. Place rom on card and install zip from recovery. Just to see if you can get a working rom.

ps, you did do a full wipe before trying to install cm? If not, do that and try cm again.

mmm i probably didnt in all honesty my heads beginning to feel the strain of all this thinking and reading lol. so i wipe (not format it) it in 4ext??
which wipe is it i have a few
wipe data/factory
wipe cache
wipe cach +dLVIK

will i still be rooted when it done ??

Been a long time since i had the desire and never used CM, but if the rom requires a partitioned card and yours isnt, it will hang or bootloop.

yep do any custom mods have access to the Play store i thought i read that they did?

or how do i add acsess to the play store and gmail?
or is there a wat to go back to a stock rom (whilst still rooted?)

for cm, you have to flash a separate google apps zip (gapps), should be linked on their site.

Remember to flash gapps after you flash the rom, (ooh it brings it all flooding back)!
