Root It's been a good run!

Well guys, today marks the end of me being an LG Esteem owner.

I didnt think this day would come, but I guess all good things must come to an end.

I traded it in at AT&T today... they gave me $100 bucks for it, which they do for any smartphone right now... and I got this:

For those of you who missed the center of the pic, I got a Lumia 820... I've never used a windows phone, but I really like the compatibility options that go hand in hand with their many other products that I use on a daily basis. It was an easy choice.

I will always miss my esteem, and the only thing I'll regret is never seeing a working CM10 port for it. I've had fun, and I'm glad to have had the opportunity to meet everyone I did...

Don't worry bruh, I'll let ya know what CM10 is like (if it's ever completed, doubted but hopeful, lol). I too will soon jump ship... But for now I'm still gonna rock the Esteem because it still has plenty life left in it!

I couldn't agree more, the esteem is an awesome phone. There isnt a day that goes by so far that I can say oh wow, I'm really impressed compared to the features that I got from the esteem.

This phone out performs the esteem by a long shot, but for the same price, I could of gotten a reman GS3 and I kick myself for not doing so.

I'm hoping with time, I can perhaps figure out how to do the same things I could with root, but on this OS.

...btw, yes... they give you $100 rebate for any smart phone towards your service (or deposit - if required) ...new customer only deal, it was pretty hilarious though, I left it rooted with the GS3 ROM in it, the guy who dealt with us at the AT&T store had a WTF look on his face when he seen it LOL
