ITS HERE!!! SNesoid!!!! (SNES Emu)

I downloaded the lite version and was trying to play some of the old Final Fantasy's. I have the Sprint HTC Hero and the virtual keys are not working and the trackball isn't being recognized as a Dpad. Anyone else having these issues and found a fix?
The only emulator that I know for sure has been updated to register the trackball is GameBoid.

Gameboid is working great! Thank you! Got the Final Fantasy roms so I've got my portable RPG fix for a long while. :D

Ive been trying the snesoid app on my galaxy and ive found that using the trackball option is the easiest way to play. But its really annoying that you keep running, on the galaxy we got a real d-pad so is there any way of making your character only run when you press left or right? and not KEEP running.

i have a g1. At times a character will move and im not pushing anything. For example, in donky kong, mortal kombat, ill be moving right or left then let go and he keeps moving. it has happend to other games as well, but still works good.

yea mine does that too, i use advanced task manager to kill all my unneeded running apps to help out with giving the emulator extra cpu power

Can somebody tell me how to play the nes emulator on my g1
Send. E mails text or whatever.

Why I don't have rom to play it.
Should I download the games.

Alguien digame.

i cant find the roms in my sd card when i search through the SNesoid. but when im in file manager i can see it. the files end in .rom . my PC SNES Emu loads them fine but not this one? i have a hero:confused:

does anyone know how well these work on say a droid eris (or hero)? ive yet to decide on my phone and honestly i like the eris more then the motorola droid but if one has a better game selection that will weigh my decision greatly

Just a tip...I would not put your personal information (name/phone number/email) on a web forum. I'm not saying our users would screw with you, but there are bots out there that search for this type of info...

I tried it when I had my Eris. It is a MUCH better experience on the Droid (mostly do to the D-Pad)...Other's may have different opinions though.

A bit off topic, but Gameloft (I think it was) is going to be developing games specifically for the newer crop of phones with faster processors (Droid, Snapdragon Processor Based Phones, etc..)

first i just wanna say supergnes is never coming out. it's been on hold for months with no updates to the blog.
the only reason i even wanted it was it promised super mario rpg would work, since it doesn't work on snesoid.
yongzh doesn't really care much about games that won't work, he just keeps making incremental updates that do very little most of the time so he can stay on top of the market list. it's getting annoying.
i have all his emulators, and theres quite a few popular games that won't work on them. i emailed him and he either says he doesn't play those games so he'll never fix them, or that it's too difficult. wtf? i'm paying for a broken product here.

I have the motorola droid 2.01 firmware and this is a great lil emulator
I play FZero all day with the sensor option and max frame skips set to 5 and there is no lag at all. Played lots of games on this emu and it's been fine final fantasy mystic quest won't work for some reason.....

as far as the nes emu for droid, on my psp (which I take all my games from to put on my droid) there are no roms just a bin file and some other stuff but my psp has over 300 nes titles, just trying to figure out how to get that to work on this droid.

just noticed some people are having trouble with Zelda on their g1's to fix the problem when you can only see the rain and not the ground just hit menu > Setting > enable transparency. this might make the game run a little slower but you can switch it off when you get past the problem area this will all so work for mist and probley fro other rpgs.

hope that helps some of you

Has anyone had luck getting a bluetooth device to work with this? I have a bluetooth keyboard and my EVO recognizes it. When setting up controls in SNESoid, I can map all the controller keys to buttons on the keyboard when I press them. However, once in-game, the keyboard doesnt work.
