Hey there folks - been lurking for a few days, and I thought it might be time for me to go ahead, register, and introduce myself.
As you can see, I go by the forum name of Ernest_T_Bass. Yes, that's as in the character from "The Andy Griffith Show." No, I'm not a nut like he was - just a big fan of the character and the show.
Anyway, my inner tech geek was severely tempting me at the beginning of the week, and finally got me to plunk down the money (or more accurately, the plastic) for a Motorola Droid. I've found there's quite a bit to learn (thus the reason for my prior lurking), but I'm having an awful lot of fun doing it. Looking forward to asking a couple of questions, reading more of your tips, and hope to be contributing some tips of my own before too long. Thanks for having this forum - it looks like a great resource.
