Its not octa core it has 2 quad cores.

Just saw on gsmarena avout i9500 that its not octa core instead it has 2 quad cores.
But iam confused that in the same site I read few days back that read as octa core. Now the confuaion starts.

It has 2 four core processors, well the international version does. Only 4 cores are ever executing at a time, one set for high performance and one set for lower power consumption. So this is often referred to as 4+4 cores, but since only 4 cores are executing it is technically a quad core processor.
