....does anybody know how to change the theme on the Pulse. For example, if it's possible I would quite like to change the colour so the unlock circle isn't pink!

I have seen online pics in one review where it is blue, as are the top and bottom task bars.

You could download pandahome or some other app that works with 1.5. In the phones own settings there is very little you can do, other than change the wallpaper, widgits, etc.
