It's official: 46A Marshmallow upgrade being pushed out to VZW customers

Checked last night and my update was there waiting for me! Installed it right away, but haven't looked into things too much yet. Played with On Tap which is pretty cool! One thing I noticed is that the LG Health screen is not there. May be it's gone with Marshmallow. Will check the settings...

Didn't check for that as I disabled it anyways. Plus, I use Nova Launcher as my launcher of choice (like being able to have Landscape mode on the main desktop).

But overall, excellent OTA. Phone is just as snappy as it was before and battery life definitely appears improved when Doze mode takes over. Remember, Doze mode only works when you aren't using your phone (which includes it's not moving around, etc). It doesn't work when you're using your phone, so don't expect battery life to improve when playing Game of War or any other intensive game/app.

For me, unless I was running a custom ROM, when using unrooted stock mode, my battery would drain about 3% to 5% overnight (around 6 hours) even with Greenify having hibernated things and with the SnapDragon BatteryGuru app (without them, the battery life was worse but not completely awful).

After upgrading to MM yesterday (didn't do a factory data reset), I left Greenify as is as well as SDBG and when I went to bed, my battery was sitting at 93%. When I woke up this morning 6 hours later, my battery as at 92%. Now that's battery life thanks to Doze. So it does work as advertised. After a few days, I'll see how things are once it's settled down after the upgrade and then I will probably uninstall Greenfiy and SDBG and see how Doze works that way, but Greenify does a lot more as well (keeps Facebook in check, etc) as does SDBG. Just have to wait and see.

But overall, excellent OTA so a big thanks to LG and VZW. This was quite a surprise that we got this update as fast as we did. Usually, VZW likes to keep us waiting.

As of today, people should start seeing the Marshmallow 46A OTA being pushed out to their VS985 devices:

Remember, these are pushed out in batches, so not everyone will see them immediately. It could still take up to a week or more before you see it.
V's new Marshmallow 46A seems to work great. Increased functionality :). Circle upgrade is really nice BUT...after ~ 12 days of use the small dial of the circle's NEW "clock" remains stuck on/at 2p and you can no longer able to tap it to access the alarm/timer and setting mode (?)
