I've always hated Yahoo mail. I've used it since 1999 but despised it. The site never renders properly in my browser, especially with the redesign where I can't scroll emails up and down.
Add to that the difficult of getting Yahoo mail to work on Android, I tended to use my yahoo mail as spam mail only.
But after the Firesheep debacle where unencrypted sessions can be side-jacked by any stranger with FireFox, Yahoo mail is now the lone major mail service without full HTTPS protection.
Gmail has always offered HTTPS option, which is awesome.
Microsoft finally got in the game after the Firesheep debacle, offering HTTPS (which you have to turn on manually! ) Hotmail security improves with full-session HTTPS encryption .
But Yahoo mail still has no such option. As a result yahoo mail users are vulnerable to having their email accounts hijacked by any stranger!!!
I'm dumping Yahoo mail completely now. Screw yahoo. No wonder they're going down the tubes.
