Help Its urgent please help me..

I am a user from india and i had the ka7 version pre installed and today i tried to upgragd it to kc1 through kies...the firmware was downloade perfectly..but now a window has appeared saying preparing firmware upgrade component...and stuck their nothing is happening..what to do.?i use win7 32 bit..

No nothing happened...i kept it like that for an hour..and I removed it ...thank god it didn't get bricked..now how do I update to kc1...?
