Quick question iPhones have I tunes what do htc phones have for transferring/updates/ etc

For transferring files, you don't need any software, just plug it in, it will appear under "my computer", and just treat it like a flash drive.

For updates, I don't know how it goes for HTC.

Updates are done over the air. You can download what's called an RUU (ROM Upgrade Utility), and run it from the PC, but you lose all your data doing it that way.

Head to Settings -> About Phone -> Software Updates -> Check Now to see if there are any updates. Most of the time, it should notify you if one is available though.

Hi, I have an Android STAR A2000 which I got from China. Cannot find "Sound & Settings" anywhere?? Also, I down loaded a ring tone to my PC that defaulted to iTunes. Any ideas how you download from here to the phone??

Just connect it and put it in mass storage and move it to your phones/sd storage to set it try going to the file click and hold and you might be able to set it like that or from options in your music player
