Android Question

Hi. Archos 80 G9.
I can't get ITV player to work. I have downloaded it and it works until I go to download a program and then it just hangs on 'downloading'. I have re-installed it several times and written to ITV themselves but they were less than helpful i.e. they had no ideas.
From what I can gather I am not the only one.
To add insult to injury ITV is advertising that it is available to everyone including Android.
Previously it was only available to Galaxy users but that has now ended.
Thanks
John
