Itv player

Hi does anyone know if you have to create a google account in order to use or install itv player on Samsung galaxy ace? When i try to install it i get promted to create an account and i dont know if this is nessasary. Any help would be really appreciated.

How are you trying to install? Via the market? You need a google account to access the market.

I'm also pretty sure you need an ITV account to get their player to work too, you should be able to create one on the ITV website.
