Help Iv got Internet re-direct Virus/Malware, Please help!!!!

Hi All

I received an email from a friend through my Hotmail app the other day, it contained a link which I clicked by mistake. This took me to one site and then on to another. Now with unknown frequency, when I open an internet page it starts direct to wars the first site(the original email link) then on to the next. It is always these two sites, and never a different address. I have downloaded AVG, Norton and Zoner from the Playstore but none of them have found anything. What can I do?

Try clearing out Internet cache, cookies, etc. Reboot, run scans again.

McAfee's SiteAdvisor hasn't tested that site for malware yet unfortunately.

FYI, I HIGHLY recommend installing siteadvisor (free version) on your PCs. This is an incredibly valuable tool to find out if search results lead you to suspect sites that contain malware or not.

May be a crappy thing to do, but maybe a factory reset to get rid of it if all else fails..
Have you tried a different browser to see if it still happens.

You try force close Internet under app management then clear data and cache?
