for the last couple days I've been getting these weird "stories to read" notifications and I don't know why. Anyone know why I'm getting these and how to make them stop?

I've been getting "stories to read" notifications for some reason

Try Addons Detector to see if you have apps letting popup messages happen.
Barring that, settings, Apps, All and clear data on all of your browsers - that can also be caused by a browser hijack.

Have you been taking a lot of pictures? When I take a lot of pictures in one location Google will create a story out of those pictures. I, personally, think it's kinda cool. I will then share those with my in-laws and other family.

I dont take pictures with my phone. anyways, i found out that google now cards was the culprit behind the "stories to read" thing. I disabled the stories to read, but I don't know how to disable google now cards
App drawer, Google Settings, Search and Now - off.
