Help I've got a brick now

My phone did an update last night from MetroPCS. Now when it boots it goes straight to a black screen. I can press the power button and the screen will come on, but shut right back off. Can't do anything.

This sucks.
 
Leave it off. Charge it for 24 hours. If that doesn't bring it back to life. bring it to metro and ask them to fix it.
 
Already took the phone to MetroPCS. They replaced it without any questions. So I'm back in business again.
A lady came in the corporate store shortly after me, with an Alcatel phone, but a lower model. Same thing happened to her. Not sure of the outcome since she had to leave before me, she was on lunch break.

So it seems to me that something might be up with the updates. Be careful.
